Access to public weather pages...

There is a lot of virtual 'real time' information (with interpretations) on this site.
The information is portrayed on maps of the region, overlayed with graphics and data moving over a period of time.

For a couple of short cuts, try these...
Click 'public access' button, then 'WxMAP', select 'Australia/New Zealand'.

For (144 hrs) wave height map imaging select the button on right, 3rd from bottom.

(Takes a while to load, but well worth the wait!) Check out the number of other maps...

For a 10 day prediction of the probability of high winds click on "Ensemble Forecast' (Left column).
This takes a little while to load. Scroll down to 'South west Australia'; then click on 'Java Movie'.

This dynamic chart will give the probability (colour coded) of there being gale force winds within the next ten days.

To maximise the chart, place your mouse over the dividing column between the index and chart. When you see a double headed horizontal arrow, click on it (hold), move it to the left and release. The index will minimise, enlarging the chart and displaying the controls and guide to the colours.
